As a fundraiser and a service project the lodge is serving breakfast and lunch at the University of Scouting on 11/4/06 and needs your help. We need:

• about 50 people - 30 scouts and 20 scouters
• 12 - 15 two or three-burner high pressure propane stoves (just the stove)
• 12 - 15 heavy griddles, or 24 - 30 Dutch oven lids to use as griddles
• 12 - 15 spatulas
• 12 - 15 oven mitts

Staff - Please ask your entire chapter and committee to help us run this event. The target number is 3 people from each chapter and a couple from each committee

 

Gear - The thought is that the cooking gear is on loan from troops and/or crews but requires your pre-planning. Rest assured, it will be thoroughly cleaned after the event.

 

Time/Location - Volunteers need to be at Hickman Mills High School, 9010 Old Santa Fe Road, Kansas City, MO by 7:00AM and will be done by mid-afternoon. If you can only help at the lunch meal that is okay too. Your meals are covered.
