Missouri Western University in St. Joseph Missouri is hosting a merit badge workshop.  This will be held on the  campus in St. Joe.  They are offering two badges, with a break in between for a sack lunch ( drinks will be provided).  It is presented by the Alchemist Club.  In the past they have had a kind of Mad Science format with seven or eight hands on experiments.

COST AND REGISTRATION:

Cost is $15, payable in advance, and the registration deadline is October 13th.  To register, contact Trudy Donnelly with your age and rank in addition to the badges you wish to take.

 

OTHER DETAILS:

This merit badge workshop might not have been offered this last year, but Troop 186 scouts have attended the two prior years.  One year the reviews were great (Best merit badge I ever attended!)  and one year was not quite as wonderful.  There has been a carpool set up in the past.  A flier is available and will be provided to anyone who is interested, but it is fairly blurry.  Anyone who would like to enroll please let Trudy Donnelly know and she will try to organize a carpool.
