2 night campout
May 19-21, 2006
Lake Jacomo, MO
When and where to meet:
At Lenexa United Methodist Church, Friday evening, May 19th at 5:30pm. Eat
before you come. It is such a short drive we won't stop for dinner. We will load
up the camping supplies and leave around 6:00pm.
What to bring:
1. Your personal items, including rain gear (see "Personal Equipment" section of
Trail Tips (pdf)
for list).
2. Boy Scout Handbook! (make sure it's easily accessible)
3. Patrols' food (except 1st-years), camping supplies, and tents.
4. Class “A” uniform for advancement.
5. A Campout Permission Slip
signed by a parent.
Location:
Youth Primitive Area of Lake Jacomo, Site #9.
The lake is
located 30 minutes east of the greater Kansas City area, just south of I-70,
between I-470 (Missouri 291) and Missouri highway 7.
Return to:
The Lenexa United Methodist Church, Sunday the 21st at 1pm.
