Campout -- Fiery Forks -- Caving

2 night campout
October 15-17, 2004
Camden County, MO

When and where to meet:
At the Lenexa United Methodist Church, Friday evening, Oct 15th at 5:30pm. We will load up the camping supplies and leave around 6:00pm. We will stop at McDonald’s on the way for dinner. The trip will include CAVING.

What to bring:
1. Your personal items (see "Personal Equipment" section of Trail Tips (pdf) for list).
2. Boy Scout Handbook!
3. Patrols' food, camping supplies and tents.
4. A Campout Permission Slip signed by a parent.
5. Class "A" Uniform for Advancement.
6. Money for McDonald's on the way
7. Older clothes for caving – clothes will get dirty
8. Must bring a hard hat – (bike helmet will do)
9. Three (3) sources of light – (such as large flashlight, small flashlight, and a glow stick)

Location:
We will be camping at Fiery Fork Conservation Area, Camden County, Missouri near Climax Springs along the Little Niangua River. We will be exploring the Fiery Forks Split Cave.
